1.13TB in Addon Linker, approx. 400-600GB in community folder at any time including full AIG setup and GAIST.  4m-4m30s load time.

My addons folder used by the linker is 200GB, but I never load all that when going to fly because I have presets.

Of course - I hope everyone uses it like that 😉

Ran test with Process Monitor (didn't find an option to view the latest entry on top of the list instead of all the way on the bottom).
This showed that MSFS, although marked by Not Responding in the Task Manager and clearly is not responding to any mouse input is actually doing something, one file after another is being processed, registry entries are worked on etc...

Win11 Pro 64-bit, Ryzen 5800X3D, Corsair H115i, Gigabyte X570S UD, EVGA 3080Ti XC3 Ultra 12GB, 64 GB DDR4 G.Skill 3600. Monitors: LG 27GL850-B27 2560x1440 + Samsung SyncMaster 2443 1920x1200, HOTAS: Warthog with Virpil WarBRD base & hegykc MFG Crosswind modded pedals, TrackIR4, Rift-S for VR

The trick is to run the process monitor for a few seconds, stop the capture and scroll through the list until you see flightsimulator.exe, right click that line and include only flightsimulator.exe so that everything else is filtered out.

Now restart capturing and have a look at what the sim is doing. For example if you have GSX or fsltl installed you'll see the sim spending some time trawling through the files for those addons.

Turn on autoscroll - one of the icons towards the top left in process monitor, next to the capture icon.
