October 10, 20223 yr .. it may be time to turn it off. WT have been quietly enhancing the look of the GX3 in the sim to the point where it is better looking than the GX mod which has not been updated. If you do not want Synthetic vision, you can turn it off by clicking on the HSI and then selecting "additional options". Bert

Then we should delete the GX3 mod and just use the default GX3 in other planes too, correct? Thanks. October 10, 20223 yr I don't want to take credit for something we didn't do! All credit for all the G3X updates goes to Asobo. And indeed we don't really recommend our mod any longer; it was only ever just an extremely light mod, hasn't been updated except for compatibility for well over a year. The stock G3X has most of what ours had plus more stuff.

Edit: I went to go compare and your old mod seems to have better color representation than the stock still (vs the real one). They (asobo) must have picked up your mods over various SU's and just integrated them because all the touch screen stuff works but it has blue backgrounds for the labels (etc like Split screen toggle etc). So imo the mod still looks a touch better. @Bert Pieke can you find anything that's an improvement over the mod? The leg was wrong on the WT mod version oops. But the WT version wins for realism both the terrain display/SVS and the "buttons" on the top are more realistic and the font size. Open the full res if you like. EDIT: Ohoh I noticed the airspace is non existent on the WT mod.... that's definitely a big negatory for situational awareness! RV14 compare by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Great comparison... Based on this, I would say both versions have a way to go.. One thing that is missing on both is the enlarged readout widow for current speed and altitude.. 😉 Bert

Click on the CDI center and a menu opens. Actually if it's not on there click on the very bottom of the map screen where it says Map FPL Proc and it might be in that popup window. | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |

I actually mean on the main display.. what I like about the G1000NXi is that the current speed and altitude on the speed tapes is enlarged so my tired eyes can read it at a glance. Much like Rolex has the date window magnified on the watch. Similarly the real G3X has these critical readouts magnified and readable, see below Bert
