SSD storage was never cheaper, so I really wonder how 60GB can be an issue anyway nowadays... Having bought a 32 inch 2k monitor, an RTX3080 and a 5800X3D in the past few months, I've just about exhausted my upgrade fund even though my 1TB m2 drive is nearly full. Next on my list of wishes is a 2TB m2 and some head tracking gear. Christmas is not far away, so here's hoping. Here in Switzerland, you get such a SSD for roughly 70 bucks... I mean, if the budget is so strict, I wonder how you managed to get the components you listed? There are other things to spend money on than a computer game nowadays, the electricity bill, for example. Nothing wrong with saving money, but spending more than 1500 bucks for a new GPU, new processor and new monitor and then deleting 60GB of mesh data due to limited disk space sounds a little bit... weird. In regard of the fact that 1TB SSD storage is so cheap. And please, if you want to save money to pay your electricity bill I consider thinking about not turning on your 800W rig at all. Saves even more money and electricity... Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024
October 19, 20223 yr I packed the files into a Rar-file and saved them on an external SSD, no visible problems so far. System: I ASRock X670E | AMD 7800X3D | 64Gb DDR5 6000 | RTX 4090 | 2TB NVMe | Seasonic Vertex 1000W I LG Ultra Gear 34 UW I

That seems like a good idea No point me buying another 1 TB m2 drive as my mobo can only use one. Personally, my unplanned experiences with offline -- when I lost my internet connection briefly a couple of times -- left me with no interest whatsoever. Offline mode is like going back to a very old version of FS, at least scenery-wise. I have saved the files on a separate drive, but deleted them from my MSFS drive since they serve no purpose for me, and yes, 60 extra GB matters. I see no difference in MSFS performance or scenery.
