Kodiak Amphibian Flights

Disregard this post. KARA has changed the water runway for a grass strip. Makes for a pretty rough landing with gear up.

I am on my second flight PAWG to PAJN. Landing water runway 8W..

Nicely finished cockpit as well, gear and water rudders available and properly integrated.. better than the old Lionheart version for P3D.

Water runway 8W at Juneau, AK

Warning if you spawn there with winter weather, it is frozen solid. kLzQuaZ.png

Another addon to check out is KDWH, Hooks Memorial, in North Houston, Tx.  It has a "sea lane" water runway that is touted as one of only five in landlocked areas of the USA.  The freeware KDWH Hooks addon is availabe at TO.

Hi Folks,

Im loving the Kodiak, both for that matter, but the Amphibian Is my go to.

Can someone explain to me how to come to an absolute standstill in the water, I just can’t halt this beast.

Is it in my settings of my Bravo throttle.

Hold down the F2 key to slow down/reverse,   and the Pushback app to Hold.

KDYT has 2 water runways and a paved runway with ramp access to the water.  There is a nice freeware scenery or payware one by Verticalsim.

Here's the free one (with ore docks, lighthouses and world famous Duluth aerial lift bridge)

Hi Bert. Would you please describe this app and point us to it?  Or are you referring to the MSFS  [ ↑ P ] key pushback command?
