career program with crash damage in game?

Featured Replies

i was playing OnAir today and i ran out of fuel and crash landed my plane.

and all OA did was just reset the flight.

remember FSPassengers that would give you a full report on the severity of damage to the aircraft and each individual person on board if they were out x amount of weeks recovering or if they were killed. Very sobering indeed.

does anyone know if there is any career program for msfs that would at least not just reset the flight but givedamage to the plane…

does airhauler2 do any of this?

i think most just reset the flight. i want something more hardcore.

Ciao!

Airhauler did under p3d, and I've no doubt it does in MSFS as well. Neofly also registers crashes, and if you didn't buy insurance for it, you'll have to buy a new plane out of your cash reserves.

good to know.

i might just switch, i can at least test out neofly.

Ciao!

It would be a very short career if you keep bending the aircraft. You would find yourself relegated to delivering plastic ducks in Euro Truck Simulator.

Neofly does this. A crash will destroy the aircraft in your virtual hangar, meaning you will have to purchase it again unless it was insured.
Hard landings will cause more wear than and tear than good landings wich will mean you will need to spend more money to maintain your aircraft. If you don't maintain/repair the aircraft in your virtual hangar, eventually they will be deemed unsafe to be usable for missions.

But there is more:
If, on a mission, you carry delicate goods, like glass items or electronics. you could destroy part of the cargo with a hard landing, and you'll hear the sound of breaking glass when that happens. Virtual passengers also don't like hard landings and will start to scream at you if you fly steep banks. VIP passengers will be even more fussy.

Crashes in Neofly will be considered non-fatal and it won't accompany the crash with crash effects other than the sound of breaking of glass from damaged cargo and the screaming of passengers.
The program will log the v/s of every landing the virtual company will tell you if you have done a particular smooth landing.

well im vary disappointed!

i just wasted $50

it turns out i cant incorporate the hjet into AH2

im going to stick with OA - they will be dealing with crashes in more detail in the future.

neofly 4 has it in but you have to work up to it…

ive put to much work and effort into oa to throw it all away…

Hey Brian - sorry to hear that but curious what stopped you using the HJet in AH2?

I really would have loved if Dan from FSPassengers made a return to MSFS. Someone said he's still active on the orbiter forums. Maybe we all should make accounts and bother him till he does. 😂

Take-offs are optional, landings are mandatory.
The only time you have too much fuel is when you're on fire.
To make a small fortune in aviation you must start with a large fortune.

There's nothing less important than the runway behind you and the altitude above you.
It's better to be on the ground wishing you were in the air, than in the air wishing you were on the ground.
