  1. Unfortunately there's only Leeds East (EGCM) on flightsim.to ... although it is a very fine piece of work!
  2. Release and pricing update: https://stormbirds.blog/2023/11/21/just-flight-confirm-price-and-release-eta-for-msfs-vulcan/ Cheers!
  3. From memory, I think the Flying Iron spit also has full checklists which highlight the item. Cheers!
  4. I'm sorry to hear about this - over the last year I've seen a number of responses in the forum to people wanting to backup their control configs, essentially saying don't worry its all cloud saved. Unfortunately my own experience has proven this to be wrong so that, in some cases, settings can be lost (happened to me twice). So, as I posted in another thread some time ago now: "Just in case you fancy manually backing up your control mappings and logbook see below ... this is for my Steam version but if you search your PC for the filename below it should point you to the appropriate location: I have a folder containing controller mappings under my main Steam/userdata folder … this folder (named “remote”) sits under a couple of other numbered (not named) folders: “…/Steam/userdata/10842504/1250410/remote”. In this “remote” folder I have “inputprofile_[xxx]” files which describe my latest mouse, keyboard and controller mappings, there are also files for other things like the logbook. A search for “inputprofile_” or similar might help you find these files if they exist on your system. Cheers!"
  5. Wondering if they have been doing some upgrading to weather servers ... also had outage but been back on today and the cloudscapes have been fantastic.
  6. Hey Lorby Was an avid WAMA user for FSX and P3D ... I had absolutely no idea that you had created a prototype for MSFS. Only found it about an hour ago as I was thinking how much I wanted WAMA in MSFS ... had not heard a dickybird about your work on it. I'm convinced that the lack of interest you mention in previous posts must have something to do with total lack of visibility. I know that Just Flight and SimMarket push out product notifications to purchasers ... maybe you could ask them to push out a notice to all owners of WAMA previous versions that a prototype for MSFS is available and maybe also point them to this Avsim forum for feedback? All the best!
  7. I would also say 'yes' ... have had it for quite a while and really like it.
  8. I posted this recently in a similar thread: "Just in case you fancy manually backing up your control mappings and logbook see below ... this is for my Steam version but if you search your PC for the filename below it should point you to the appropriate location: I have a folder containing controller mappings under my main Steam/userdata folder … this folder (named “remote”) sits under a couple of other numbered (not named) folders: “…/Steam/userdata/10842504/1250410/remote”. 10. Hey Brian - sorry to hear that but curious what stopped you using the HJet in AH2?
  11. Does SU11 bring rotors off the back side/lee side of ridges? Thanks!
  12. I'm using AivlaSoft EFBv2 ... recommend it, try it out with trial.
  13. Don't forget that there are some great freeware enhancements out there for some of the standard aircraft: 1. The Cessna 208B Grand Caravan EX Improvement Mod is a creditable alternative to the Kodiak: https://flightsim.to/file/16350/cessna-208b-grand-caravan-ex-improvement-mod 2. Both the G36 and C152 mods are also well worth checking out, nothing to lose!!! G36: https://flightsim.to/file/21221/bonanza-g36-improvement-project C152: https://flightsim.to/file/2246/msfs-c152-community 3. If you want something really old school then I can recommend Ant's Tiger Moth - great fun especially if you don't use the (optional) GPS tablet. Cheers!
  14. +1 one on this ... I'm using pretty much the same technique with the C152 KAP140 and finding it to be very usable. Oh, and the modded C152 is great as well!!! - - - - - Ads Kluczinsky
  15. Was having the same weather issues for previous day up until around 3 hrs ago but all OK now (I'm based in UK so Euro servers) ... there's some interesting clouds formations east of Ottawa in Canada if anyone wants to test. Cheers!
  16. Hey Folks I asked this question over on the MSFS Forums but got no answer: I used to enjoy flying the Quality Wings 146 & RJ in P3D ... for those that have done similar, how does the Just Flight 146 compare? Thanks!
  17. In my opinion the biggest mistake was to try and make the weather engine 'fit the METAR' rather than have the 'METAR fit the weather engine' ... i.e. create sim-based METAR rather than 'real world' and then give access to 3rd party apps to this sim-based METAR through an API. End result would hopefully have been the dynamic weather engine we saw in the early days, a consistent and sim-accurate METAR available to any 3rd party application that wanted to use it. Just my opinion though!
  18. And this one: https://forums.flightsimulator.com/t/sim-now-seems-incapable-of-rendering-overcast-using-live-weather/473591
  19. Hey Jarnie I know it's not a 172 but the JPLogistics free enhancement of the 152 is well worth checking out: https://flightsim.to/file/2246/msfs-c152-community Cheers!
  20. Sure - understood. I guess I took your stated desire to just practice 'take offs and landings' too literally!
  21. If you're just intending to do circuits you don't really need the AP ... hand fly it.
  22. Hello there Wing Nut and welcome back! It is indeed a golden age for simming and, for now, getting even better! My favourite 'freeware' GA is a mod for the standard G36 which you can find here: https://flightsim.to/file/21221/bonanza-g36-improvement-project It has so many features already (have a read of the above link), including having been updated with the new prop physics and fluid dynamic flight model. Along with so many others I'm waiting for A2A's first release and, until that time, this mod is a worthy replacement! Cheers Ads
  23. Jason, Fiorentoni, Blueshark ... thanks for taking the time to confirm. Cheers!
  24. Hello folks Quick question please ... have skimmed this topic and other but not seeing much comment on this: I really enjoyed to systems failure and persistency features with the P3D version of the Maddog ... does the MSFS version offer the same features? Thanks Ads
