need to "hard" reset MSFS everytime before i start

Featured Replies

Well,

i thought i open a new topic to hopefully get some help and not hijack other topics..

Problem: Got a new rig. Specs are 13900KF, Gforce 4090 MSI, 32 Gbyte DDR5 Ram and Corsait Water Cooling as well as a Asus Strix Z690-F Mainboard.

I completley installed it from scratch, also MSFS but what i experience is that everytime i try to lauch MSFS it comes to the synchronizing Data screen, and it crashes as soon as it enters the "fullscreen" mode..

Not possible to start it anymore until i do this "hard" reset of MSFS. So not the normal reset option bt the one where you have to select the packages folder and do your itims in the ingame config.

I then can play without issues....

Any idea what could cause this ?

Error log from event viewer looks like this:

I know there is a thread out there  on the FS Forum stating some compatibly issues with sound drivers, but i also tried it without anything and still the same....

Thanks for your thoughts, Carsten

So are you saying Razor was causing the issue or fixed it?

Ah. I am having some crash issues and am using it. Gonna delete it and see if that clears things up. Thanks.

I have a 100 % Razer setup and never had an issue.

Why would their software cause issues with MSFS?

don't ask me, ask Razor or Microsoft. But on my system the CTD disappeared after i deinstalled it and this was the only piece of software i removed....
