November 14, 20223 yr Since SU11, I find the image slightly oversharpened... Found the AMD FidelityFX slider and reduced it from 100 to zero. That seems to have improved things for me. Is this a common issue? I have not seen it mentioned.. 1080p with TAA on a 27" monitor. Bert

I have 1080p - but on Nvidia - no problems - but I have just watched 2 videos - UD11 - where the maker used 4K HDR - which came thro' to me as pale and over sharpened on my 50" DLSS Quality - dX 11 Edited November 14, 20223 yr by jaytee73
November 14, 20223 yr I turn it off, too, as this setting is causing excessive ghosting on my machine (RX5700) - i.e. moving objects leaving traces. Undercarriage lever a bit sticky was it, Sir?
November 14, 20223 yr I recently switched from Nvidia to AMD GPU. Had to immediately turn off the "sharpness". My MSFS 2020 repaints: Flightsim.to - Profile of HStreet Working on MSFS 2024 versions.
November 14, 20223 yr No issues here with Nvidia RTX3080. Since there is a slider for AMD sharpening, I guess ASOBO knew that there may be an issue with AMD graphics that users may want to or need to adjust. The AMD FidelityFX sharpening is both for AMD and Nvidia GPU's. I have a Nvidia GPU and i'm using it at 200 with DLSS, otherwise the image gets too blurry. I turn sharpening off (meaning set from 1 to 0) in the UserCfg file, then utilize the AMD sharpening option within the sim graphics options. This prevents sharpening from occurring twice. Which also prevents it from occurring twice.. I hope. Bert
