The only additional scenery addition required is "Windy Things" (by trfsto - Link: https://flightsim.to/file/14024/windy-things) which supports our windsocks and flags.

NOTAM1: Misty's Place is our fictional "home base" and you can download that from the top of the Scenery Page HERE. All other locations in RTMM are REAL locations, only Misty's Place is fictional.

NOTAM2: RTMM is now compatible with ORBX Alaska Mesh, in fact it is RECOMMENDED.

The Beaver is what we all have been waiting for...it is perfect for the RTMM scenery package as most of our locations are on the water. Each location has its own ICAO so you can set it into your GPS "direct" and go right to the location. Each location has "transparent" water runways and all have docks or mooring balls.

This link is on the RTMM site. It mentions a payware  program for about $10 called FastStart. I bought it when it first came out (FastStart). It allows you to jump around while in the middle of a flight. You can choose your orientation direction, altitude, speed etc. You can choose where you want to jump to based on the POI file that you yourself make. The RTMM site has made that POI file for you which has  all of the locations of interest, even all the cabins, and it tells you the direction, speed, etc. automatically.

So you can start a flight from anywhere and then consult the maps and charts available on the RTMM site that you could have for instance printed out. And then warp there and begin a journey to wherever.

Yea I saw that......and I have ORBX Alaska but I decided to just "give it a go" and see what I see.  It doesn't say what specifically is incompatible, I'm guessing it might be elevation issues and stuff but I'm going to leave ORBX Alaska installed until I run into issues and then decide if its worth the hassle disabling it.  Then again I can count on 1 hand how many times I have actually flown in Alaska with the ORBX scenery!

Home page says it is compatible...

Don't need it.. don't bother.. Was compatible with earlier versions but don't think anymore due to all of the terrain/elevation changes, and it seems that after sim update, something else is broken!. Keep it simple (and clean).

The homepage and other pages on RTMM say that one file installation for MSFS is 'coming soon'.

Yep, we are changing things all the time (like everybody else) trying to keep up with the quickly moving events. So we fixed it and I changed the home page ... you were correct, it did say that, and it was correct "then" ... but alas, the times make us update things! 🙂

There are some good St Vincent and Grenadines Island sceneries by a dev called Totof33120 on FS.to such as TVSC Canouan where you can taxi your float plane into the small harbour inlet. Download this and his other sceneries of TVSM Mustique and TVSU Union Island for some very scenic, short, island hopping. The islands are all about 15 mins flying apart. All three airports have a couple common dependency libraries you need to download too. Worth the download, had a great time running the daily Island hopping service in the Beaver float.

Yes sidfadc (et all). RTMM pieces for MSFS, reflect in LNM (and/or plan G) from the LH to each of the cabins.etc.. All of it are registered as valid ICAOs in those moving map apps as well as the MSFS sim.

And the beautiful thing about this is, they'll all be registered in apps like Neofly as valid destinations. So if you want to run a charter business in southeast Alaska, this makes it happen.  You can be assigned to take your Beaver to the NFS cabins on remote lakes, etc.

UPDATE:

Just finished updating (again) the new single download which includes all of the MSFS2020 RTMM libs and scenery pieces.

RTMM Complete.MSFS2020 zip.>> https://tinyurl.com/9tfahfew

Latest version of the master contains updated versions of: USFS Group 1/2 Ketchikan/Misty Fjords Cabins. New Eddystone Rock, Sea Otter Sound, RTMM Alaska Lighthouses, RTMM BC Lighthouses (Smartcam:) and fixed smoke effects that were broken by su11.

(For Linker users, set up/add main RTMM folder and link it to the community folder...

(or for "non-linkers" >> copy/paste all 32 folders (4-Libs, 28-scenery folders) into the community folder.. and start the sim...

Once linked to, or folders placed in the community folder, update scenery library in LNM to have all the ICAO locations available.

Norm

(also add windy things for windsocks/flags> https://flightsim.to/file/14024/windy-things )

RTMM is a fantastic way to explore Alaska, the support group are equally as helpful.

The scenery is outstanding and the detail and effort they have put into RTMM is nothing short of brilliant, the list is endless, and the hours of exploring and discovering lighthouses, Cabins is simply wonderful.

I take my hat off to this dedicated enthusiastic Group, well done Fella’s, I’ve followed this for years now, through the FSX and P3D days, Bravo Zulu.

Addon Linker shows a problem with two sceneries in this update. Sea Otter Sound v1.03 and Hoonah Cabins v2.0 both error with "could not read manifest.json file." Any ideas?
