Hi Dillon…I was reading this discussion thread and it’s clear that many are hurting. Jetline Systems, Windows 10 Professional, Gigabyte Z490 Aorus Pro Ax LG 1200, Intel Core i9 10900K Ten Core, Corsair H100 240mm Liquid Cooler, 64GB Corsair Vengeance RGB DDR SDRAM 3200MHz, 10GB Nvidea GeForce RTX 3080 GDDR6X, 4TB M.2 NVMe SSD, 1000 watt Gold Power Supply.
November 18, 20223 yr Author I can’t thank you all enough! I followed each of Noel’s steps and it worked! I restored all in sim settings to ultra, etc. and smooth again at 30fps/vsync. I did do an Nvidea driver update, but did not notice the clean install checkbox at that time. This time I did, so a clean install took place, and the shader cache deletion was also something that I had not done until now. Dillon, I’ve read all of your posts and they are always thoughtful and helpful. I can’t deny that at any time this sim can leave many of its users unable to enjoy it. I do wish performance and stability will always be the focus of all updates. Everything else must down the list. Again thanks to all for even responding. I have always added an exclusion rule for MSFS and the Community folder in MS Defender. https://support.microsoft.com/en-us/windows/add-an-exclusion-to-windows-security-811816c0-4dfd-af4a-47e4-c301afe13b26 glad it is working for you again, MSFS is like oxygen for most of us, can't live without it. Another suggestion to prevent possible trouble: use a good backup tool, that will allow a complete restore with just a few easy mouse clicks. I use this: https://www.macrium.com/reflectfree AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler. 60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking. very nice.

November 18, 20223 yr I had some performance issues as well. I always test with the PMDG 737 at a heavy airport with traffic set to 40 or 50. I am tired of messing with settings. I want to fly, not fiddle. I simply reset the NVIDIA control panel, set to high performance, and a few other things and viola. Back to good performance. 7800+4090+64ram Just Flight RJ, 146 and F28, Piper Arrows ---A2A Aerostar and Comanche---Black Square Starship, Duke(s), TBM, Bonanza/BaronV2, KingAir---FSReborn FSR500---COWS Da42---FX P180, HJet & VJet---FlySimWare Chancellor and LearJet---FlightSimStudio EMB175 &P2006T---Fenix 320---PMDG DC6, 737(700+900), 777---C22J---Milviz Cessna 310 & Porter---SimWorksStudios Kodiak, PC12, Zenith & RV14---BigRadials Goose---IndiaFoxEcho MB3339+F35.
November 19, 20223 yr Realtime Online Traffic has increased its performance impact in SU11 oftentimes quite substantially so I have to turn it off depending on the airport now, much more than prior to SU11. After doing this out of LOWW this morning I enjoyed seeing one lone MSFS user coming in (multiplayer in close prox turned on)!
