RTX 4080 - Frame Generation with G-Sync - some advice

No I don’t lock…I run very high settings so don’t typically stay at 60 at large airports (generally 45-55), outside of large airports though I’m generally 60-70 depending on the area and aircraft.  I was flying the PMDG 737 across Alaska last night and was getting ~120 just outside of Anchorage.  

Perhaps with a new CPU a consistent 60fps will be more achievable.

And then I ran last night about 15 miles west of NYC area with the longitude beta and full AI traffic and clouds....butter smooth with FG and TAA.  Probably had about 70 fps or so.  No flickers of any kind.

It just seems random to me.

I'm almost certain I'm going to pick up a 4080 the next few weeks.  The question is will there be another price cut?  It feels like there might be after Christmas.

I hope there is for your and everyone else's sake.  Some of us had to fall on the sword.  I don't regret my purchase though.  I've got 35-45 fps in VR with medium-high settings and 80+ in 1440p with near max with tons of addons.
