Is the PMDG 737 Pause Issue Fixed?

Featured Replies

I inadvertently paused a flight just now in the PMDG 737-600 around 50NM before TOD for around 30 minutes. When I came back to the Sim I noticed the fuel quantities were exactly the same just before I stepped away and when I took the sim off pause the aircraft did not plummet towards the earth lol

Just wondering if anyone else can confirm they are seeing similar behavior.

I assume you paused by pressing ESC rather than the Live Pause option from the addon bar?  I think the 737 uses the Live Pause if you enable Pause at Top of Descent.  I used it once ages ago and it messed up the flight

I was actually using the TOD calculator and pause app, it basically uses the live pause. I also tried pausing via the escape button and that also worked properly now.

Does it continue to burn fuel if you use ESC pause?

No no fuel was burned pausing the sim either way. I think it must have gotten fixed somewhere between SU11 & the recent PMDG update.

Will check again tomorrow

I needed to pause the sim for the first time ever just yesterday (using ESC) and I had so many issue when coming back after an hour. OVHD Panel issues, couldn't cutoff the engines after arrival, time didn't pause but continued counting, and many more issues.

I was able to land tho, but it's safe to say, pausing the PMDG 738 using ESC does not work at all for me.
