December 2, 20223 yr I just updated to Windows 11 two weeks ago and I am not using VR, simple screen with 1440p and it did nothing in regards of performance. I switched, because the scheduler of Windows 11 is meant to be better working with my novel 13600K, but even from this point of view I did not see anything that proofs this on my rig. Also, sadly, it did not fix my DX12 issues I have (ground bleeding through textures on airports), some reported that switching to Windows 11 fixed this for them. On the other hand, I also did not observe any issue so far, meaning it was a totally obsolete but at least not negative move 😉 Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

I'm afraid that your expectations about DX12 don't take into consideration a few factors. Video and display drivers are typically written by the vendor of the card and they link to the operating system. The other problem is that (in our case MSFS) the software is not being properly optimized at the moment. Not a W11 issue. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.

Pretty much aware of this, but as some reported that the switch to W11 fixed the issue for them, I had a slight hope that it might work 😉 Greetings, Chris AMD Ryzen 7 9800X3D, 2x32GB DDR5 6000MT/s RAM, MSI RTX 4090 Ventus 3X, Windows 11 Home, MSFS2024

W11 and MSFS are now both working better than ever for me. Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind). Well, to be honest, W11 has been working perfectly fine for me but I fear the luck might run out and that has been the basis for my reluctance. My MSFS is so darned good at the moment I don't want to jinx it.. 😉 Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
