December 13, 20223 yr I have just begun flying the Beaver, and found that the prop is so opaque that I cannot see through - which makes it pretty near impossible to see the runway or make a decent landing. I have restarted the sim, but the problem exists for default aircraft as well as add-on liveries. Has anyone else seen this problem, or found a solution to it? Any suggestions will be welcome! December 13, 20223 yr I have not experienced such thing. Maybe another add-on interfering? You can try to disable your community folder to see if it still persists.
December 13, 20223 yr I don't know about it being totally opaque - that does not sound right . HOWEVER, the props in MSFS are generally quite unrealistic. When running at normal RPM's they should be nearly invisible, not a clearly visible disc. There is a great mod that fixes this with all the default and many 3rd party pay ware aircraft here: VR Friendly Prop Mod MULTI PASS! » Microsoft Flight Simulator It fixes the Beaver. December 13, 20223 yr Author SOLVED - made the three prop blur textures more transparent ... I can't explain how the textures got to be so opaque, but they had lost all their transparency, hence the problem with pilot visuals. December 13, 20223 yr @raptyrone I notice that mod is a fix for VR Users, not sure if the OP is such or not he doesnt say. I havn't noticed a problem in the Beaver or any other aeroplane as a non VR player. Edited December 13, 20223 yr by Pathfinder633

December 13, 20223 yr Strange. I downloaded it and installed it locks msfs on the start screen. Removed it and back to normal. I9-14900K, Gigabyte B760 Aorus Elite AX, RTX 4080, 32 ram.1 tb nvme M.2 SSD, MSFS 2020 on 2 tb nvme m.2 SSD

This mod works for normal monitor displays too, not just VR. I don’t use VR and I am using this mod. It really makes a big difference (improvement).
