I would not use DLSS with a 4080 as you are underworking your video card and getting lower clarity than you have to. Just leave it on TAA and leave turn frame generation on.

I'm hoping the pauses were server side, seems like others have reported stutters/pauses also. I didn't have any yesterday.

Thanks! I finally read a thread on DLSS last night and came to the same conclusion about being Main Thread Limited and not fully utilizing the 4080 so I went back to TAA with Frame Gen ON. I finally understand the Dev Mode Render Scale parameter and why the cockpit text on the GTC was a little fuzzy. Very new to really using MSFS so a big learning curve. Thanks.

I spent 1403 after tax on my 4080.  It is an MSI Gaming Trio X

I paid $1806 USD equivalent before tax for an MSI 4090 Suprim X. (Tax in Ontario, Canada: add 13%).

I paid CAD$1230 after tax. Thats US$917.  MSI RTX 4070 Ti Ventus 3X 12G OC
