Javasimulation MCDU Hardware

Featured Replies

Has anyone tried the javasimulation's MCDU hardware. The site seems a bit unprofessional with text like "Lorem ipsum dolor sit amet," on there. I'm trying to see if they are a legit company, but I can't find much information about them. They are selling the MCDU for $420 USD which is a lot cheaper than other offerings that I've seen.

Flight Sim PC - OS: Windows 11 Pro. CPU: i9-13900K.  RAM: 64GB. GPU: NVidia RTX 4090 OC
Flight Sim Xbox - Seriex X, 3TB

I was looking at that too, but I couldn't find many reviews on it. I mainly found several posts talking about how they ordered it, and months later still didn't get it. I also found a couple saying they got it, it was low quality, they returned it on their own shipping dime and never received a refund.  Given those and not one single positive review anywhere that wasn't obviously written by the vendor, I'll give it a pass.

In my opinion, this site is a scam.  Let's start with the lack (or non-existence) of reviews.  The only comments are from people that are waiting on their product.  Then, look at the company's landing page.  Not only do they spell "welcome" wrong but they can't even get the spelling of their name right.  I plugged Javasimulator.com into sites that verify websites and it does come back that they are in Thailand but no other information exists.  The trust level is at 14% which basically means don't trust them.  If you look at bottom of their website, it gives information about the company but I plugged that into Google Translator and it detects that is in a language called Oromo.  I googled this and it is a language from Ethiopia.  Most email scams I get are from Africa.  So, you decide if this is a scam!!

Wonder if they are related to the Kick Starter guy from Hong Kong?

All these comments are completely false. I ordered the Java simulator MCDU and it just came after only waiting a month which is a short amount of time considering the fact that I live in the U.S.A. and it came from China being handmade. The quality is amazing and I can see how it would be hard to believe that it is so cheap since most things involving flight simulator gear are really expensive for even the most simple things. I can assure you though that it isn't a scam and is well worth the wait and price.

Says a new AVSIM member with one post...likely the vendor.

I ordered the mini overhead on April 2nd. Production date was set to the 2nd of May. On the first of May I received a mail that production was delayed until May 12th. Haven't heard yet from them since and they are also not replying on any mail I send. No problem when there is a delay, but please keep communicating!

I will wait for another month and then start the refund process via my CC provider...

Actually, received it 1 week ago. But had to mail on a daily base to keep them moving. Chose DHL livery, most expensive but fast and transparant option.

I really like it and it is working great. One minor issue with the FBW (ext pwr stays green the entire flight) but just received a message it will be solved soon.

So, all in all a happy camper now...

Thanks for the update. Had been on the fence about ordering from them. Thank you.
