There are no current limitations in Concorde's flight performance, other than any bugs that MSFS routinely causes from time to time in any aircraft. We do routinely monitor bug reports of course, but somedays folks see a bug and the next day it's gone again. Seems just to be sim instability rather than anything else - generally Concorde is working fine and I see them crossing the Atlantic every day when testing other airplanes when multiplayer is switched on.

Concorde will perform all of the flights that the real Concorde could perform, in much the same way, as long as it's flown correctly. Although not study-level, balancing fuel CoG and other duties are required on longer flights to make sure you get all the way to JFK, for instance, with enough fuel to land. Air temperatures will affect the flight, and Concorde is usually somewhere below Mach 2 for most of the time despite what folks think ( Concorde was below Mach 2 most of the time in real life ). Mach 1.97 is the most often Mach number I see over the Atlantic.

Super-cruise, timed descents, correct landing airspeeds and attitudes are all in place. All that Concorde really needs is the addition of an INS and a hefty chunk of work on my part to bring the textures and modeling up-to-date. That's all just starting at the moment, so it will be a while before the work is done and available. I'm keen to get on with it though, Concorde's done tremendously well in sales and is very popular, so it's time now to bring it up to a new level.

Thank you for that!  Seems you picked up another customer 🙂  Wow, probably been more than a dozen years since I did a virtual flight in the Concorde!  Just thinking of the JFK approach in MSFS makes me smile 🙂

It is a well performing aircraft, fully flyable not direct study level but next to it and as ever i do a flight with this fantastic looking airplane i am a happy camper, you have to learn the balancing fuel CoG and other duties but that makes this plane interessting - IMO !

I can just recommend her..👍

cheers 😉

It's a very unique distinguished experience compared to the other aircraft addons. Has it's own special character and temperament, and one of the most professional, humble and kind developers behind it.

You are forever awesome and appreciated!🍻  @DC1973

What happened to the steering after nose gear touchdown? Is that the infamous "dodgy MSFS landing bug" that I have heard quite a few users talk about? Also, why are the runway centreline lights offset so far from the centreline markings at Kai Tak?

Yep the touchdown landing bug you can see it in all of my videos. As far as the centerline lights offset no idea when the last time that particular Kai Tak product was updated (Redwing Sim). I believe there are 2-3 other newer Kai Tak sceneries now.

Does that landing bug affect every MSFS plane? That would drive me nuts.

Gonna do further investigating, it just may be a hardware conflict/bug on my end as I still suffer from random jerky banks as if a random very violent wind shear occurs.

Even though now thinking about it I do prefer to fly in winds almost always over 7 knots in MSFS (I like to see pretty ripple water below🤣)

Even then why would a crosswind only affect my front nosewheel contacting the ground?

It feels almost as if I'm landing with a stuck/crooked nosewheel pointed either left or right instead of straight.

I've never seen it on Concorde or any other airplane, but it seems as though everybody's experience of MSFS is different these days, dependent on multiple factors.
