Bandwidth Error

yep, get this error message every one in a while, just live with it.

But what I don't like that Bing maps is set to off after this message.

Have to change it to on e everytime this message comes.

This item from another forums says it all:

What it is a nonsense is being switched offline for the remaining of the flight. If there’s no communication between client and server for a moment, let bring a little message on screen , non intrusive. When communications are restored, bring another little message and keep with downloading bing maps scenery.
What’s the point in doing the actual to us? leaving us offline for the rest of the flight when we have nothing to blame as our internet connections are working perfectly?

Everyday I have this error.
Also 2 topics on other forums about this.
Start happening a week ago.
Never had this before.
Now every every flight.
Sometime a restart of Fs2020 is needed to load the bing data again.

I am really done with this.

MSI Tomahawk Z790, I7-13700K, DDR5 6000mhz, MSI 4090, 3x SSD 980 PRO, Corsair 360 Liguid CPU cooler, Corsair H1200V2 power.

same here, unstable MS server feed, first Azure ATC went off, then scenery switching offline, then MSFS completely off. When we as user can expect a stable running data feed from Microsoft Servers? My system is updated and running well. Will stop Marketplace purchase until situation is acceptable for me, at the moment I have more issues than in FSX era, btw. the useless three green annunciators at flightsimulation.com always showing green, seems to be not very believable. Best regards

Plus the fact that it pauses the sim and pops up in the middle of the screen, often when you're on final approach. That's fun to recover from.

This isn't an end user problem. MS's servers are having issues. Nothing we can do on our end will fix it.

This is like saying "the power lines were taken down in a storm and the power is out. I'll install lower wattage bulbs to fix it because everything helps."

Definitely not.

you can also edit your autoexec.bat and config.sys but as long as on server side the decision will be made to let you in or kicking out nothing helps. In my opinion the "your bandwith..." message is a little bit misleading, should be addressed in one of the next SU's.

Not remotely close to accurate.

This happens since AAU1 to many people and has nothing to do with your systems. It is for sure a server side issue MS has to fix.
Maybe they underestimated the popularity of their sim. 🙂

again bandwith too low here...

Yeah, during the holidays the sim was running fine but this all started ever since AAU1.

Maybe the number of users grew too quick and Asobo/Microsoft weren't prepared for the spike in server load.

Hopefully they address this issue soon.

Yes indeed.
It al started after this update.
Before never had this error.

Thats the only thing which is bothering me about FS2020 that you will always be dependent on their servers
