Bandwidth Error

Featured Replies

Well my Aircraft goes for a D- check.
Will check 4 weeks later.
If there is still an issue I will sell my 4090 and forget about MSFS2020.

Finally it works superb with the 4090 and FG and now this.
It seems there is always something.
I guess that's the issue with always rely on scenery which is located not on your PC.
Yes I understand to  much BING data to store locally.
But this is going to be a serious issue

2nd day in the row with bandwith too low, 15 minutes loading time, at the moment this simulator is useless and a waste of time for me. Hopefully Mr. Neumann has a solution

Exactly this. It takes ages to load a flight and when it finally loads it goes immediately into offline mode. The situation is especially bad on weekends. If the servers are not up to the task to handle all the users then MS needs to stock up. But that costs more money

For me the only option going forward is to make MSFS a subscription model.

I just took my broom in Hogwarty Legacy out for a spin. Big fun, no CTDs and Bandwidth issues!

we pay at release for a 10 year update and use,so change that later to subscription is robbery.....

Yes! I also have good looking scenery (and fast loading times) again! Hopefully it stays this way...

Set your data bandwidth to max. 40 Mbit/s, it works for me (stable) and for some other guys who tried it today ...

Loading times not to long when starting the Sim?

Hm... I had bandwidth problems during the last few days. However, today all is fine again. Without using this trick. So... could be the 40 Mbit/s trick isn't actually solving the problem: maybe MS solved it on the serverside and so it only SEEMS the 40 Mbit/s trick did it. 😉

At this very moment I am doing the same flight as yesterday (Amsterdam-Gibraltar).

The bandwidth error appeared on my server at descent.

Within 2h I will know if the error re-appears or that I can land without issues 🤞

You're right, it looks like they've solved the problem for now. It can't hurt to remember the trick for the next time.😄

I had a whole week without bandwith issues. Then it hit hard again. So don't be too confident. 😉
