March 9, 20233 yr Have this too now for the first time...! Internet speeds, both download and upload, are above 900 Mbps. Defenitely not a problem an my side...! 😉 In the meantime the world looks like word not allowed and there isn't anything I can do about it... Whenever I try to re-enable Bing world data the sim is stuck for a few minutes and after that nothing has changed. Bad. Really bad. Edited March 9, 20233 yr by tup61

March 9, 20233 yr It wouldn't be such a big deal if whoever designed the notification hadn't been asleep at the wheel. The "low bandwidth" one is annoying enough, pausing the sim until you click OK and then you have to jerk your hand back to the controls if you're on short final. But it's the "lost connection to server" one that's really dumb, because it pauses control input and freezes it at whatever the input was (so if you were correcting by banking right, it's gonna keep that right bank), but doesn't pause the sim! Caused me to almost crash while landing last night by making a normal wind gust correction a massive overcorrection when it locked out my controls. March 9, 20233 yr I have the problem too, since yesterday sporadically, since today with every sim start. However, it can be reliably avoided if I select Bing lastest or Google Maps as the source with the MSFS Map Enhanced Mod. Maybe they are running into problems with the default image server. March 9, 20233 yr My impression is, it's getting worse over time (more and more people are 'joining the club'). And by the way, I wonder why the information policy is so thin with MS. Everybody would be much calmer if there are some simple official words like "yes, we are aware... this or that may be the problem, we don't know for sure yet, but we're on it." Never understood why the communication of big companies doesn't fit most of the times. Edited March 9, 20233 yr by Watsi

I think they are aware, but since MSF is one of their promotion for BingThing it would be a bad idea to tell the MS servers has not enough bandwith to provide a stable datastream, btw here the whole day bandwith was too low... So they say nothing and all three annunciators at flightsimulator.com were green all the time. But sooner or later it would be a problem, the fewest will accept this for longer time. Ralf Andreas
March 9, 20233 yr I have posted this over in the MSFS forums as well: I may have found a workaround, at least for me, it seems. For whatever reason, my rolling cache settings were set back to off and a size of 0 GB. I turned it back on, set the size to 8, and it has been working for me since. It does need some more testing though but so far so good.

I'm not sure if it is a server side bandwith / resources issue per se. There could me many reasons for this.
March 10, 20233 yr yes, there could be lot of reasons but for sure it's not my bandwith which is too low. The zendesk ist suggesting a PC cleanup and nothing we can hear from official side, instead Asobo is announcing one funny amazing thing after another. For me, I have enough funny things for the next three years within MSFS, what I want is a stable system which is useable also on sundays or in the evenings. Ok - and a functional AI traffic and an useable WX radar. Thats all. Ralf Andreas
March 10, 20233 yr Yeah it's not client side. At least not a client bandwith issue. It could be some net protocoll thingy that came with AAU1 or something (still client side, but not bandwith or our fault/problem). Could also be a SU12 'pre-thing' (even if you don't have the beta) Edited March 10, 20233 yr by Watsi
March 10, 20233 yr This afternoon I made a flight from Amsterdam to Gibraltar. Around 40 mls from Gibraltar the server got this Bandwidth error. The client had no issues. When te-enableing Bing on the server I got a CTD. The client still no issues. Both using the same router and 600 mb IN …. March 10, 20233 yr Wow... seriously... second day in a row... This is really bad. The sign things are wrong is the loading time of the flight. When that takes a LOT longer than usual I can be sure I will be getting this error. This sucks big time. 😡
