I have a very clear visual and am genuinely curious. Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing, along with a screenshot of your graphics settings?

Can you post a screenshot of what you are seeing, along with a screenshot of your graphics settings? Let me see if I can get the conditions again. I've got the full size shot (but the forum may change the look of the image so I've attached two 1:1 crops). Obviously FXAA's look is pretty much to be expected but 8xMSAA is a bit rough on fps but my 4080 can still handle it. It's not the shadow on the plane - seems to still be an issue from xp11. But the edges of the wing mainly the aileron and the top (or leading and trailing edge) of the wings - also it certainly isn't always this bad if the lighting contains less contrast. Oh more one important item - in a still screenshot the issues don't seem as apparent. When I pan around and introduce motion is when the issues are exacerbated. settings by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr full by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr fxaa by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr 8xmsaa by Ryan Butterworth, on Flickr Edited February 21, 20233 yr by ryanbatc | My Liveries | FAA ZMP | PPL ASEL | | Windows 11 | MSI Z690 Tomahawk | 12700K 4.7GHz | MSI RTX 4080 | 64GB 6000 MHz DDR5 | 500GB Samsung 860 Evo SSD | 2x 2TB Samsung 970 Evo M.2 | EVGA 850W Gold | Corsair 5000X | HP G2 (VR) / LG 27" 1440p |
February 21, 20233 yr Commercial Member Pretty much what is expected at the moment. The shadows are fixed, but are not activated yet. They can be modified by making some changes, but LR aren't recommending that yet. Performance takes a hit. And also, seeing as you're using nvidia, it's a little more prominent than on an AMD GPU. As was mentioned in an earlier post, LR are aware of the AA, and are working on it. They know what the problem is, so it's a matter of making the fixes. Until then, it's a waiting game.
February 21, 20233 yr Sounds good.
