Earth Simulations

Featured Replies

I am curious to know how many people still use Earth Simulations scenery packages in P3D. I have the Isle of Man, Guernsey and Isles of Scilly installed in P3Dv4, and I regularly visit the first two in my PMDG 737NGX. Earth Simulations were ahead of their time in the field of P3D regional scenery packages back in the day, and their products remain visually impressive to this day. I would love to be able to say thank you to Darren and Vicki Vincent in person for the thousands of hours (and over a decade) of pleasure that I have had using their scenery packages.

Thank you, Darren and Vicki

Not using their sceneries since moving to X-Plane, but I had years of enjoyment from the Dash8 and their addon sceneries IOM and Guernsey.

Likewise, I'm all XP now but I really enjoyed their high definition Scottish scenery that they on hard disks that were posted out.

Darren and Vicki were always most helpful, it was a sad day when they called it a day.

I expected them to pop up again with some design project but alas they never did, I wonder what they went on to?

Good luck to them both

I believe Orbx bought their software files and said they were going to put them out for P3D again, but it never happened.

I would love to experience Earth Simulations scenery packages as I have heard so many good things about them. Shame ORBX didn't republish them,

I never used them or heard of them, to be honest. I stick with ORBX products only.

I'm not sure, but I think ORBX Alderney is a former Earth Simulations product.

To answer the threadstarters question: I had some of their sceneries but couldn't transfer them to v5 and gave them up then. I don't know, if i still have them on my drive somewhere but don't know if I could install it at all without Earth Simulations providing a registration server.
