Was it difficult to install???  Was it difficult to start engines??

Unfortunately only spent about 10 minutes flying it so far. Installation was super easy and fast. But after that I admit I got a bit confused adjusting the default settings. I used Ctrl + E to start the engines, then it wouldn't move so I slewed it up into the air. But it seems like everything would work if one spent a little more time on it.

You need fuel, air and electricity and if you give them all three, they do indeed start.

The Porter PC-6 model says it is for P3Dv4 and P3Dv5. But the installer I downloaded was only for P3Dv5. Have I missed something?

When you choose the airplane to download just keep the mouse on that item and you will see the ss#.
As an example, if you choose KA350i your # 304-791-603-164.
I hope it helps. By the way, that King Air is fantastic.

BTW, are you able to download the files? When I click download, nothing happens at all.

I had the same problem originally and thought it was a scam. However, I tried again a day later in off-peak time and could start to download, but only barely. Downloads fail all the time, requiring a resume or restart several times. Even now, still struggling, but with some perseverance managed to download a handful. I guess Milviz put the free stuff on their oldest, slowest server and stuck it in a corner somewhere. For free, I guess one cannot really complain

Sorry to hear that.  I downloaded the 737 and Twin Comanche yesterday evening  and just now the KA3450i with zero issues using Chrome, so maybe timing is everything.

Thanks so much Milviz/Blackbird, and thanks so much OP for showing this. Just got the 737 for FSX. First glance, works just fine and seems to have decent to good system depth. Ok, it doesn't look as shiny as my PMDG 737-700 in MSFS, but still seems like a very good plane to have. Maybe looks are a bit worse than the JF 757 Freemium, but the systems in this one might be better modeled than in the free 757. Definitely worth free, and even for a fee would seem like a good plane to have. A bush flying 737, wonderful!

Hi, I get a CTD (crash to desktop) on P3Dv4.5 after three separate attempts at loading the aircraft. All other free and paid for Milviz planes for P3Dv4 work fine on my P3Dv4.5 installation.  Any suggestions for the CTD?  Thank you.

I have heard that an outdated MilViz weather radar can cause a CTD in P3Dv4.5. The file in question is MV_WX.dll in your P3D gauges folder. I have file version 1.40.0.45. Before I updated to it I had the same experience.I thought the included Milviz WX Radar v1.191023.exe found in the installation package was supposed to update correctly but I got mine from Just Flight where I bought the radar.

I see that the B-55 runs on P3Dv3 but when running the installer (from free download) I'm only offered v4 and v5 to install to.

There is also no P3Dv3 option for the DHC-3T, UH-1 Redux. And the following installers when ran show nothing for 'Choose simulator version': DHC-2, T-38A, DHC-3,

The installers that did have "Choose simulator version correctly:

P-38L
FG-1D
J-87

I'm running P3Dv3.4.22.19868

Any way to get them installed into v3?

Probably not unless Blackbird chooses to release the installers for the older versions.

I've ran into the same issue with FSX, where the caption under the photo includes FSX, but when I go to install only the P3Dv4 or P3Dv5 options are available.

You can open the installer .exe with 7zip and install them manually

Any 64bit DLLs will be a problem - D3DSounds should be easy to fix, at least it was going 3 to 4, never tried the other way...

The installers that when ran which showed no sim choice to install to if one clicks 'next' you can install to the root sim folder.
