Severe Texture Re-draw Popping post SU12

How many times does it need to be repeated that they have different teams responsible for different things?

The Add On Team is not the same that fixes bugs and issues with the core sim.

The more people say this does not make it more right or relevant. Assuming that people working over at Asobo are not super-specialized donkeys capable of only working on one single assignement, you could easily re-assign the people from the addon team to the bug fixing team (or at least some FTEs). At least in regard of a timespan of several months to more than one year like certain bugs exist. It is a matter of will, not of could or wish. If Asobo would prioritize those bugs high enough, they could solve them in an acceptable timeframe, they simply do not priorize like some of us want to, that is all and this can be criticized. But I doubt they will change their priorities due to us guys at avsim...

    Same problem in DX11.

  • Just another example of half baked MSFS misery ignored by the devs for months, if not years. More important to add more and more stuff to the sim nobody needs instead of once taking half a year to get

My guess is that he probably doesn't use the external view, given his setup.

That is correct. I only use the VC views without instruments onscreen.

OK, thanks!  That clarifies it.  So it is not that you don't have it, it is just that you don't really see it due to the way you set up your view.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

I just asked this question for the next Twitch developers session in mid-April.  Let's see if it gets asked!

"Could you please give us an update on the DX11 tile popping issue and DX12 tile bleed through issue?
There is a feeling you are ignoring these issues, or you are saying you have fixed them.
The DX11 tile popping is a global issue, it wasn't just Malta.
I am sure you will understand this is becoming frustrating as it spoils the otherwise excellent look of the sim.".

would like to know what you do differently to avoid the DX12 bleed through errors, as they are quite widespread.

I can’t speak for @GSalden but I have also not seen this issue running DX12 after many hours on the new PC. Or at least my OCD has not noticed it!

For what it’s worth, I am running DX12, DLSS Quality, frame gen on Vsync on in NCP and off in sim (but setting it to 50% of monitor refresh rate before turning it off on sim (oddly does make a big difference). Monitor is G-sync compatible. I have GAIST (all regions), AIG (all bigger operators) and a bunch of freeware and payware airports and aircraft. community folder is 200GB. I also only use Track IR. I also run the updated DLSS v3.6 dll’s. No DSR. In sim everything is max, except TLOD at 200 and OLOD at 100. That AMD sharpness slider is at 70. Aniso at x16 set in NCP. Other setting at 8x8. No special system mods and no overclocking. Simlink, Simbrief and Navigraph also running. Very seldom go outside the cockpit.
