Well.. would like to have a nice car, but the missus Corvette already takes up all the room in the garage. I would also like a motorcycle, but have no license for it and no time to get one. I'll stick to photography and archery. Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
April 4, 20233 yr A fancy compound bow I suppose, with all those cams and stuff? I recommend a good old fashioned English longbow, with a draw weight one of the X Men couldn't handle.
April 4, 20233 yr You just have to find the right wife. Mine endured me for 60 years. I taught her how to fly-fish and that was something she liked and we could do together. She asked me not to ask her to go flying with me and that kept her happy while I was getting my commercial and beyond. When I started flight simming I got her a computer too and showed her where you-tube was. There are three lives in a marriage. The husband's life, the wife's life and the together life. Treat and respect each one equally. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

Although I have a compound, my favourite kind of archery is definitely traditional longbows/recurves. A really nice hobby, and quite inexpensive (a good shooting longbow sets you back about £100 and will outlast us all) Would like to get my hands on an English yew warbow though. Not the Mary-rose kind of insanity draw weights but somewhere in the #80 lb range. Probably way more than £100 though. Ah, well. enough off-topic for me... 🤪 Richard 7950x3d | 32Gb 6000mHz RAM | 8Tb NVme | RTX 4090 | MSFS | P3D | XP12
