Is it the Evo model, or plain O11D? If it's not the Evo you'll need a veritcal mount

Yeah, it's just the D and not the Evo, sadly..

I used an 011D Razer Edition and my 4090 Suprim X fit nicely but there was only about inch clearance on the side for routin the GPU cable. I had to use a 90 degree 12VHPWR connector to comfortably power the GPU. Cablemod and ModDIY (which I used) make them.

have a link please? last time I checked they were still developing it. I riped off and cut away the HDD bay from my Fractal Design case for the 4090, who needs those bays anyway when everything is NVMe these days.

AMD 7800X3D, Windows 11, Gigabyte X670 AORUS Elite AX Motherboard, 64GB DDR5 G.SKILL Trident Z5 NEO RGB (AMD Expo), RTX 4090,  Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 2 TB PCIe 4.0, Samsung 980 PRO M.2 NVMe SSD 1 TB PCIe 4.0, 4K resolution 50" TV @60Hz, VR: Pimax Crystal Light + HP Reverb G2 @ 90 Hz, Honeycomb Bravo Throttle Quadrant, be quiet 1000W PSU, Noctua NH-U12S chromax.black air cooler.

60-130 fps. no CPU overclocking.

very nice.

So what’s the consensus. 7800x3d or 7959x3d lol

mike

That depends on you.

If you fly only MSFS, 7800X3D.

If you fly only P3D, Intel or 7950X.

If you fly both, Intel or 7950X3D.

If you play CS:GO (Counterstrike: Global Ops), then Intel.

If you play only Star Citizen, 7800X3D.

If you compile, encode, produce videos AND play MSFS on the machine, 7950X3D.

If you mostly compile things, encode things, photoshop, etc. and/or produce vids then Intel.

You need to know what games or apps you use a lot to know which cpu is best for you.
