ATR 72 missing RNAV transistion

Featured Replies

Hey All,

Had a flight yesterday into CYDL Pilot2ATC gave me the RNAV Y RWY 03 approach with the VEVMO transition but in the FMC of the ATR that transition wasn't listed, although the approach was there. I also noticed the RNAV Z approach was missing.

So I am not sure is this a bug with Navigraph not updating the sim, is it a bug with ATR not pulling all of the navdata correctly? I have done a bunch of google searches and I cannot find anyone else complaining about this so I am thinking I am the only one? I tried removing and readding my Navigraph data, but not sure what is going on. Any suggestions?

There’s definitely issues with Rnav arrivals at least at some airports- I was unable to select it at all. I hope this is part of the 40-whatever fixes coming next patch, as the plane is useless to me right now.

Not sure how all of the problems got past testing or were deemed OK to ship with. Unfinished products with tons of obvious bugs seem to be the norm now… 😞

Aerosoft had nothing to do with the ATR

While that may be true, I find it hard to believe Hans didn’t reuse at least some of his CRJ code.  Many of the same vnav “inaccuracies” from the CRJ are present on the ATR.

Yeah, same, with the patch coming out tomorrow, I don't think I'll be dusting it off until then.

Ok but your original post mentions the A330 and where you said "same team, same fight" which is not actually correct.

Yes, Hans did the Aerosoft CRJ.

No, that wasn’t me who said that.

Are you sure ???

The only connection is Hans. It's not an Aerosoft product otherwise you would see them being mentioned.

Sorry for getting you mixed up with the other person.
