No Antialiasing fix = no X-Plane for me. It's 2023, we shouldn't have to deal with jaggies. Say what you want about TAA but it looks wonderful in the "other" sim compared to the crunchy mess that is XP12.

I meant to allow thumbs up this post.  It still feels like the devs don't see any issue or they don't know yet how to address it.

Hopefully they are seriously considering putting some effort into getting those motion vectors in the engine, so options like TAA, FSR 2.x and DLSS becomes an easy drop-in solution. Would do wonders for the sim.

Also why I think an internal render scaling option is a great temporary solution for them; doesn't require any modifications, is easy to add and gives people with the extra horsepower a solution for a better quality image. I tried using Nvidia's DLDSR for a downsampled 4K image. The result was amazing but being an external solution means also has an effect on the UI, so some stuff became so small it could barely be read.

Apart from the blurriness it introduces.

I'm hoping they put some effort into that AI stuff, Xplane making me breakfast in bed every morning would be the epitome of wonderful.

i don't see that in the roadmap either though....

Can't imagine why you think I would be dismissive of Laminar making X-Plane 12 work as well as MSFS on 10 year old games consoles.

Maybe they won't be put off by the 1.9/10 rating.

Just saying I'd rather it make me breakfast in bed. 🤷‍♂️

What? Why is every single one of your posts this cryptic, bordering on trolling rubbish?

You said TAA, FSR 2.x and DLSS would do wonders for xplane?

These are technologies that allow software such as X-Plane or MSFS, designed for GPUs like an RTX2080 or better, or a 7900XTX from AMD, run on consoles like the XBOX one.

So developers like microsoft can get wondrous reviews like

https://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-one/microsoft-flight-simulator

While I'm not sure what are these "wonders" you think such technologies will bring to xplane, I am 100% sure it making breakfast in bed would be more wonderful.

I swear, his posts are bordering on lunacy sometimes with MSFS living rent free in his head, 24 hours a day.

Great news. Still missing cloud reflections tho. Night flying is pretty underwhelming despite the new awsome lightning system.

The "wonders" they did for MSFS was

Nothing more, nothing less.

It seems, just maybe, you have everything backwards?

Absolutely nothing wrong with going against the crowd, but I'm not the lunatic in this particular conversation tbh....

personal insults are never a good way to admit you made a mistake, they not only make you look even less credible, but reflect badly on no one but yourself.

Agreed. DLSS3 works wonders for me.

Here is the correct link for the series x with a metascore of 90. https://www.metacritic.com/game/xbox-series-x/microsoft-flight-simulator. The link you posted is for the original xbox one which does not even support MSFS natively. I'm sure you already knew that though.
