I am looking for a good touring aircraft C172. Piper Warrior, etc. GNS 530.  Pretty simple… I just purchased Anyone Fly from Flight1

Thanks!

Carenado C182RG.

Beware of the window tint that ruins ground texture colours.

I wouldn't say it ruins it for me. Probably also depends on the monitor setup. But I agree I would prefer an option with no tint as well.

Hopefully there will be some mod to remove the tint soon.

SWS Vans RV-10 is a good tourer.

Touring?

The TBM is very simple and very cool. Fast, too.

Cessna Caravan, with it's high wing and decent cruise speed., makes a great touring aircraft.

The freeware mod that updates the BeechCraft Bonanza is amazing. Flight model is GREAT.

Believe it or not, the Just Flight Hawk is incredibly simple, ultra high quality, and one of my favorite touring aircraft.

For just a basic full throttle and go the Carenado C182RG (marketplace) is nice.  About 140-150 knots cruise.  Good visibility from the cockpit down to earth.

Does it come with a standard GPS, GNS 530? It mentions TDS support?  I have the PMS50 GTN 750z

Thanks!

The RV10 has a GNS430:

The SWS RV14 supports the PMS 750.  It is a lovely plane, but "tourer" to me implies something bigger, like the Bonanza..

If you have the PMS50 GTN it will add a GTN 650 in the RV10 cockpit and there is a file you can download from the PMS50 website that enables WTT mode.

Sorry for the ignorance, what is WTT?  Is there a specific name for the file?

Thanks!

I highly recommend the Carenado Mooney. Good performance, nice and simple interior. Did a trip from Germany to Australia in it and it was very enjoyable.

The only thing missing is deicing.

It's the Working Title Technology to manage the autopilot and flightplan, which allows you to have more features like holds, visual approaches, etc.

You can download the file here (see In-cockpit WTT mode): https://pms50.com/msfs/aircrafts/
