During my visit to Kathmandu, many moons ago, a local had pointed out to me from a vantage point some of the highest peaks visible in the distance... (Everest and K2 being among them) ... a most remarkable and unforgiving region on planet Earth ...and a sight hard to forget .... Thanks for sharing this shot ...!!
