Any news on the Simworks / Pilots Dash 7?

Recommended Posts

I thought I had heard release was close or imminent a couple of months ago but looking around I didn't see any updates...wonder if anyone else has heard news on this project?

Haven’t heard anything but I’d love to know too.

I saw a photo of RSR with Stefan and Jerome at the recent Flightsim convention in Texas, and the two PILOTS developers were wearing "Dash 7 Coming Soon" shirts. That's about the only 'update' we've had recently. I have a feeling they are still tweaking and polishing it before release. I'm looking forward to seeing the Dash 7, but there's plenty to be going on with in the meantime.

Surely not everybody was kung fu fighting.

I was wondering the same thing. Maybe it could end up being released as a local legend or famous flyer or something like that and they can't say anything.  Aeroplane Heaven said that the release of their DC-3 was close for months and then all of a sudden it was released by Asobo/Microsoft.

Maybe they are doing an A2A.  Don't announce anything for ages, show a few screenshots, get people saying 'that will be early 2024 then', and then they just drop it out!

Call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind, but I prefer Rob.

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

My least favorite thing to hear from a developer is the word "soon"--which apparently means anywhere from 3 to 12 months 😒

I done a search for Pilots Dash 7, and the thread that I used came up, the other one you refer to, didn't come up. Anyhow thanks for the tip, not.

I thought that „soon“ is a trademark of RSR and no other developer can use it anyway? Just wondering
