With XP I always use ShadeX from aerosoft with subtle contrast and sharpness adjustments so as not to break the magic of the default XP12 lighting which is already extraordinary. What surprises me the most!!! is that I get a lot of pleasure from flying over a basic representation of the world that XP offers by default rather than the global "real" visual world of MSFS. All thanks to the lighting, the sharpness of the ground and the weather as a whole. It's the subtle balance that makes XP12 truly magical in the sensations it provides.

And I'll also check out ShadeX as well, something I wasn't aware of. August 4, 20232 yr Beautiful set of pictures....filou... As I am examining the delicate color tones of the sky seen in your pictures, a few of those images look so remarkably similar to what I actually saw just yesterday around here.... while taking a walk along an (open) prairie trail...it was just past sunset on a lovely summer evening... (with late summer evenings after dusk, around Chicago area, already feeling a bit like fall ...) Anyway, your "subtle" (and expert) contrast and sharpness adjustments (with ShadeX) are matching perfectly indeed, the RW (sky) patterns ...where there is no ShadeX...🙂 ...
