Aerosoft working on A321Neo Alongside A330Neo?

Recommended Posts

Greetings all,

This was in my news feed this morning. I can't vouch for its accuracy - haven't seen mention of it anywhere else:

Maybe they should first try to make the 330 flyable. Thinking back to the P3D version this plane was a mess.....

I agree. I found it interesting the article mentioning Kok moving over to PMDG.

And people that complained about the P3D version were told to "go away"...

Germany throws money at a lot of German made software/gaming projects.

They got a grant from the German government of almost half a million Euros to develop both an A321NEO and A330NEO. This is for real.

Unglaublich

How does this pass Euro Commission state aid rules? De minimis amount is €200k and as FSLabs appears to be Cypriot, they would have a case for unfair advantage resulting in a distortion in the market.

This sounds like easy money. Let's see what I can whip up.......

Seems to be quite common for Germany to hand out grants towards gaming and software developers. I suppose if other EU countries wanted to do similar then they can.

So we have the LVFR A321, an A321 mod for the FBW, a Fenix A321 by the end of the year and presumably an FSL A321 in the works.

Great to see tax euros at work for the 5th A321...

Apart from that at least this shows that flightsimming is not a niche anymore. MSFS has shifted flightsimulation into the mainstream branch of software industry.
