Perhaps you should clarify whether this is for beta testers. I'm assuming you're talking about the beta.

No update here. I'm not in Beta

I have never participated in any beta, but now it seems they enrolled me by a mistake.

No, I’m talking about an Essential Update. Whether it’s for the beta or production is not clear in its title and no notes provided.

I'm not currently in the beta, and I got no notification of an update when I signed on to the sim a moment ago. So this update is apparently only for current beta testers.

I would normally say that is highly unlikely, and that you must have registered and forgotten about it, but we all know that with Asobo the odd mistake can happen!

In any case, the latest Beta (.14) seems to be a pretty good one.  I have stability, good performance, and the dreaded white dot has finally gone.

I can't speak for everyone of course, but I am just saying that if you have this beta, it is a good one, whether you want to 'test' it or not, at this stage it seems good to use like a normal update release, so I wouldn't be too worried about it.

If you want to leave the beta program, I would leave it until after the formal update release now or you may mess things up dropping out of the beta at this stage.
There have been some issues for others dropping out, although there are also some work-arounds if you really need them.

Rob (but call me Bob or Rob, I don't mind).

I like to trick airline passengers into thinking I have my own swimming pool in my back yard by painting a large blue rectangle on my patio.

Intel 14900K in a Z790 motherboard with water cooling, RTX 4080, 32 GB 6000 CL30 DDR5 RAM, W11 and MSFS on Samsung 980 Pro NVME SSD's.  Core Isolation Off, Game Mode Off.
