I would remove every single thing from the community folder (planes, liveries and scenery etc) and even remove addons from the MSFS menu under content that you bought (the marketplace). Some above mentioned deleting a few caches....I would recommend that as well. I fly several different payware and freeware planes around PANC, Fairbanks, Kodiak islands in various weather and I have a ton of scenery. KSEA, KPDX, KORS etc etcThis seems like a conflict from a scenery to another. Have you thought about using AddonLinker? It's free and easy. You put all freeware and payware into a separate folder and it automatically "links" these to the community folder when you check the check box. It makes it really easy to help with loading times and ruling out issues like this. Example: I will often clean out the community by "unlinking" all products and delete the entire contents of the folder if I have issues. There are a ton of tutorials on youtube how to do this. I highly recommend it to help you. Thanks but addon linker is simply out of the question. I’m sorry but I just don’t like it, had bad experiences with it in P3D and just don’t like it. I’ll try removing everything later. Thanks. Jack Sawyer

Ok, I finally have time to do this. I hard to manually type in the %localappdata% string because I don't use email on this PC, it's only for MSFS, I use a Mac fr everything else. First I uninstalled Orbx's Alaska Mesh, then uninstalled PANC, then deleted those .DAT files. Tried to spawn a plane at PANC, CTD. Then I deleted ALL of the .DAT files and same thing, CTD. I'm now in the process of copying everything from the Community folder to a back folder on the desktop and emptying the Community folder and trying it again. This started after the update 13 but I didn't see anyone else having this same problem. All I can think of it's maybe a Windows update? I can't use 11, my PC isn't powerful enough so I have 10. Everything was absolutely PERFECT for months and months, not one CTD. No idea how this could happened. Jack Sawyer

Ran MSFS, tried to spawn the 208B at PANC and as soon as the blue bar was maybe 90% across, instant CTD. I just don't know what to do now. 🥺 Jack Sawyer

These little yellow folders with arrows I suppose come from the ORBX Direct folder among other like INI? Yesterday as a test I moved the PANC folder with the little arrow to the desktop. It then lost its arrow. When I moved it back to the community folder it no longer had the arrow. I don’t know a lot about this stuff. One thing I do not want to do under any circumstances is use that addon linker. Personal reasons. Those are junction folders, you shouldn't mess with them. If the PANC folder doesn't have the arrow anymore, the link is broken. Guess you will have to reinstall the scenery or you could try verifying the files in OrbX Center. October 12, 20232 yr Ok, do you use rolling cache (in MSFS settings )? If so, try to delete it and create it again . if this doesn’t help it can be something MSFS is corrupted . I know it’s pain but I reinstalled my MSFS at least twice already , I don’t believe CTD is caused by windows. Unless you don’t keep up with windows updates .
