nav radios not working

Featured Replies

This is a current issue for me.. At time 2320Z.. I tried 3 different aircraft and I could not receive a VOR signal in any of them.  Not having any other issues at all.  Anyone else experiencing this at the moment?

No issues here.  I'm assuming that your nav radios are switched on and correctly tuned.  I did have the low bandwidth warning earlier suggesting that their servers are quite busy and got switched to offline mode and I'm wondering it the same may have happened to you.  Have you checked in your data settings?

Is this happening after you have done a roboot and a reset of your router?

Yea everything seems to be ok.  And yea I am online.  But being online or offline shouldnt effect being able to intercept a vor or ils freq

Looks like there is an issue with missing VOR's in Navigraph's newest cycle revision 2. That is probably causing your problem.

Thank you!  I had no idea that this may effect me.  I have a full navigraph subscription.  But I had no idea it'd effect this.  Arent the VOR station frequencies available in MSFS even if you do not have Navirgraph?  I did not know the two are related.

Yes, but if you use Navigraph it has priority, you would have to uninstall Navigraph to use the default Navblue navdata, which I don't recommend. It will probably be fixed soon.

Youve been a great help!  I had no idea that the community folders of navigraph took priority over that.  I just saw where navigraph has an update to the airac cycle . gonna try this now and see if it's fixed.

There is no update for me, most recent is revision 2. If you don't have revision 2 installed that means the issue was also happening with revision 1.

I just downloaded airac cycle 2311 rev 2 and then started the sim up.  It still hasnt been fixed from what I can tell.  So you also cannot tune any vor or ils?

I didn't try, I'm not on my PC, but probably not. Guess you need to wait for revision 3, possibly later today, 7th.

yea probably so.  According to navigraph forum it says its a confirmed bug supposedly.  This is the first time i've ever had this happen and I have had a navigraph subscription for over a year now.

did you check your nav/gps switch, make sure it is set to nav
