Doing my first flight since the Simbrief integration. Planned the flight and selected the correct airframes in Simbrief.  On initialising the setup in the aircraft, entering my Simbrief ID and the  FROM/TO airports,  the aircraft fails to find the route file when I press the ROUTE REQUEST LSK.  Does anyone know where the sim would be looking for this file?  I thought this was set up as a standard folder.

For transparency: I'm a community mentor at the BATC discord. However, I do not get paid for it in any way.

Have entered both the Simbrief ID and, now, the Alias as well.  No change.    I know this will probably be something stupidly simple, but ...

This problem still persists.    The FMC uplinks the W&B data from Simbrief, but does not uplink the route data.  Stumped on this one.

I did not enter From/To [Origin/Dest].

I just did Route Request then Load after getting confirmation message.

Route loaded OK from Simbrief.

Just to verify your route is not just a SID/STAR, correct?

I have tried it both ways after uplinking the W&B data.  By entering FROM/TO airports and leaving them blank.  It's complete route, yup

Are you starting the flight Cold and Dark and using the checklist?

I do not know about uplinking the W&B data.

Nothing wrong with Simbrief or Requesting route.

The W&B data comes from Simbrief (Fuel/Payload) - so aircraft is seeing that.

Not at my PC right now, but in the Simbrief downloader there are folders into which the route data is loaded.  I'm thinking perhaps this is misconfigured.  Can anyone confirm which folder the aircraft grabs the route data from in the 787X.  I think by default this is unchanged, but...

I did not know how you used "uplinking".

I do not use the Simbrief downloader.

I set fuel and payload via the MSFS Menu.

@ErichB,

Follow up.

I noticed the Simbrief Route and Weights loaded into the FMS/CDU ok but only the Fuel quantity got updated on the MSFS Weight and Balance page.
The MSFS Payload remained at the original value (30340 LBS).

Note: I had set Payload to zero in Simbrief for testing.

Did you get the Simbrief Route to load?

It doesn't doesn't use any folder, it just loads it from simbrief.

All you need to do is fill in your flight info on simbrief.com, generate it, go to the 787 and hit request route, you don't need to fill in anything on the RTE page.

Just hit the button.

After 5-10 seconds the load button should appear and then you hit that.

As long as the aircraft itself says it has the right weight and fuel, you're fine. Ignore what the MSFS Payload page says.

Agreed. But the route is not loading in for me at all.
