Recommended Posts

Finally the spinning circle is gone too and now my FPS are back and I have the same performance as with SU13. Loos like this version is good for release.

Can any beta users with FSRealistic confirm that the new Cirrus is connecting to FSR ok? For some reason the previous default always closed FSR when it loaded.
Drove me potty, really like the plane and really looking forward to the new version.

Flew my maiden flight with the new SR22T with FS Realistic and no issues this end. Set up a new full custom FSR profile for it.  Worked a treat.

BUT....... will the Cirrus's doors open?    No study level without opening doors 😁😄

More importantly,  does it have wingflex.

Live weather and global lighting look so good in this build... 😍

https://postimg.cc/gallery/GbfYtHc

Interesting to hear, was gonna ask folks what if any improvements they're seeing in live weather given these particular changes in the beta builds so far:

Weather
- Fixed an issue where the sim occasionally retrieves obsolete weather data
- Improved transition during cloud coverage updates AND fixed an issue where clouds don’t load when starting a flight.

Weather
- Fixed an issue where the wind from a malformed METAR was incorrectly read
- Snow and ice coverage accuracy has been improved in live weather

Per what Seb said yesterday about live weather clouds density needing improvements, assuming that's not fixed of course.

Should be on par since ini copy and pasted their code without permission (allegedly)

No developer needs any kind of permission to “copy and paste” code from a GPL project. Developers creating software under the GPL must make the source code freely available, and absolutely anyone may use all or part of it.  There is no “theft” or “copyright infringement” possible when using code covered by the GPL.

The issue where inibuilds is concerned, is that if they used GPL code (no matter from whom) in their A320 project, the project itself then becomes subject to the GPL - meaning its source code must be made publicly available.

Can anyone confirm/deny there's been LOD reductions in SU14 Beta?

The official beta forum has a thread on it and it's grim reading, but no side by side screenshots with SU13 to prove their points so it may be placebo (I hope).

I didn't notice any LOD reduction here.

Reductions? I think thats impossible, it's been poor for years. Cars flashing in front of me and light poles appearing once by one as I taxi along.
