Fair enough. The RNAV approach always stumped me, I thought I was doing something wrong in the FBW after seeing it in one of 320 Sim Pilot's early videos but he was obviously using the Asobo bird at the time. Strange that FBW haven't implemented it up to this point.

Dependant on the release of cFMSv2 as that contains a multitude of rewrites necessary for the VNAV and in turn supplementing the support of Final App, among other things.

I trust you guys know best and I appreciate your hands are tied at times. Not that I need VNAV approaches but it's nice to know it wasn't something I was doing wrong myself in the aircraft.

They have to release another update to fix the Assistance Settings bug or delay, if they go public with that bug then their complete incompetence will be shown and the forums will become complete bedlam. Going on past history though who knows what they'll do, I sincerely hope they don't go public until this issue is properly fixed.

the beta patch notes say it's fixed, it will just be in a future build.

What they said was this in the November 2nd Dev update:

And later they said they were still investigating the cause of the issue. Where did you see it's fixed in the patch notes? Please post a link.

I know what they said I read the official forums, but they say a lot of things so until I see it fixed in a beta update then it remains a serious issue.

I think the issue is that the changed settings in SU14 can't be saved on the servers because they are different than the settings in SU13 and that this "problem" will remain throughout the beta.

When they update all of the servers to handle SU14 and go live, our settings will start saving again.

Yeah the assistance bug seems to be tied to the cloud, apparently if you turn off online features in the Data tab before quitting the sim, next time you start up the settings won't be reset.
