I use WidevieW and rebooted MSFS and for the rest of the flight it worked correctly

@Reset XPDR Haven't made a flight, just my setup of the last days on ground: but looks very promising. Auto Pause works, TLOD is stable then, very good so far!!!

If you are referring to the AutoFPS app and you had expert settings unchecked it does change cloud quality automatically. If you don't want cloud quality to change, check experts settings and make sure decrease cloud quality is unchecked and you should be good to go.

If this doesn't fix it for you, can you please post a screenshot of your app window when it is changing cloud quality when you think it shouldn't so I know what to look for. Thanks

I am using the latest AutoFPS-Version with DX11 and without Expert-Options.

Target FPS is set to 30. All works well, but after some time the Target FPS-Field shows an additional "b", in my case "30b".

What does the "b" mean?

The Target FPS field only shows and accepts numbers as input. The only way you would be seeing a "b" after 30 is if you accidentally hit b after typing in 30 then not hitting tab or enter (eg. if you were wanting to set altimeter in MSFS by hitting "b" but this app had the focus instead).

@Reset XPDR So i promised more testing. It seems the AutoFPS app working fine in the Beta. the 0.3.7 dynamic lod seems to be the one CTDing MSFS.

Very interesting, especially since AutoFPS interacts with MSFS memory far more frequently than DynamicLOD does, which you think would cause it to be the other way around.

Now that I am finalising AutoFPS for release, I have started implementing some of the optimisations I made to the DynamicLOD_ResetEdition base code it started with into the next version of DynamicLOD_ResetEdition, so hopefully whatever is contributing to MSFS CTDs, if indeed that is the case, gets fixed by these transferred optimisations.

I say "if indeed that is the case" as my reading of SU15 beta's feedback is that quite a few people are experiencing a marked increase in CTDs, even with out my apps or with them and only in the last day or so when it has otherwise been working fine for the last week, so it's a bit hard to tell whether the issue is with the app or not.

At this time, I am staying on SU14 as I do a lot of group flying with people that I will only see if I stay on SU14. As such, until SU15 gets released, I will be relying on people like yourself to keep me informed of potential issues with the apps and SU15 and for that I am thankful.

Just so I know for sure, are you on the latest AutoFPS version I posted today, with date time stamp 21Feb240200Z, or an earlier version? If earlier, which one?

To be sure, I am receiving several CTDs without running the DynamicLOD_ResetEdition. I just reported another CTD operating in SAFE MODE, with no other outside programs running (FSUIPC7, DynamicLOD_ResetEdition, etc...just standard MSFS).

Right, this is how it shows. Your explanation is logically, but the "b" only appears after flying for some time, not from the beginning.

I will further check if or when it appears again.

I made several flights on SU15 beta with the latest Dynamic LoD last week and experienced no CTDs.
