December 19, 20232 yr When I was in the fourth grade I swiped a yo-yo from the toy counter at Woolworth's. I'm sure my opponent would find out about it and use it against me during the campaign. Or worse! They wouldn't find out about it until after I won the election and then they would try to impeach me. To spare my children, grandchildren and great grandchildren the embarrassment it would be best for me to never run for office. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly. But the engine still runs fine.

December 20, 20232 yr Exactly what Bill said, no one good in there right mind would ever enter public office when all the best opportunities are in the private sector, or making your own fortunes. Even my 6 year old has said they would never want to be a Prime Minister, even she knows better 🤣 Matthew Kane I'm Dyslexic, what's an error to you is not to me

Just once I would like to see someone at a town meeting ask, "You lie, steal, cheat, bite, kick and gouge to get a job that pays less than you could make earning an honest living. You keep telling us what you are going to do for us. I want to know what's in it for you?" Now that I'm in the old folks home I just might get that opportunity. Candidates usually like to speak to captive audiences like the inmates here. Next year they will start campaigning. Noel The tires are worn. The shocks are shot. The steering is wobbly.
