March 3, 20251 yr All I know is that when I selected a gate (or ramp) starting location for the 737-600 and 777F in MSFS 2020, the engines were switched off. I had to select the READY FOR TAXI panel state in the FMS to enable an automatic engine start and system initialisation at every subsequent start. You can save "TAXI" as the default panel state in the PMDG 737 so I'm guessing you can also do it in the PMDG 736.
