Haven't pull my trigger on this one, the main concern for me is if there is enough docs to come by, so far I see most of you are pushing videos, however that's not my preference.

The aircraft comes with a fairly large selection of documentation including:

  • Checklists (12 pages)
  • Printable checklists (same as above but condensed to 4 pages)
  • Expanded Normal Procedures (same checklists but with explanations and graphics for most steps).
  • Flexible Take-off explanation
  • FMS Primer
  • Operations Reference
  • Training Scenarios
  • Shared Cockpit Quick Start Guide
  • A small selection of Abnormal and Emergency procedures docs

Additionally, you can get some pretty good documentation (albeit for the CL605 rather than the CL650) over on SmartCockpit:
https://www.smartcockpit.com/my-aircraft/bombardier-challenger-604/

(they also have a Challenger 650 page but there aren't any documents listed on that page)

That $115 price is really taking my breath away. I guess I'm not hard core sim enough. I don't suppose this plane ever goes on sale either.

I can understand that. At the same time it is a ridiculous low price for what can be considered as a « full simulation » of the CL650 that is so good and accurate that it is in some aspects better than the « real » simulator (according to some pilots), which costs a a few millions I would guess.

Its really worth taking the time even very slowly to learn this aircraft, because its very rewarding when you have the basics down and can complete flights.

Intel® Core™ i9-13900KF - 24 Cores... Watercooling NZXT Kraken 240 RGB Black...MSI MAG Z790 TOMAHAWK...Kingston Fury Beast RGB 128GB DDR5-5600...NVIDIA RTX 4090 24GB.

I just bought this. The great part is that the aircraft state persists, so you can work your way through the tutorials etc bit by bit in separate sessions. No saving required as it autosaves. It took me 5 days to do my first flight!

Yesterday I was filling my CART with purchases for the DCS World promotional sales that are active right now, and, already at the payment "hall" I found I had accumulated  TOTAL OF $124 !!! Wow, I dropped the purchase and decided to save that money for IL-2 and maybe something for XP12 ?

I've long been tempted to buy the CL 650, but unfortunately business jets aren't "my beach".... Still, it is surely the closest to Aerowinx PSX there is for a CL 650 in any simulation platform, well, until Totoro decides to port it to MSFS... which might not take that long should he decide to become a rich man 🙂
