Looking into my crystal ball, I predict that a) CTDs will not, in fact, be eliminated entirely in MS2024, and b) even if they are and all issues you have complained about so far are resolved, you will still find something to be very, very unhappy about. i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea

This is a very unsympathetic statement, and stands in contrast to the usual policy in this forum of trying to help each other constructively . If you ever find yourself in the same situation -- i.e., with constant CTDs when you try to fly that seemingly cant be fixed (as I have been for several months now) -- your attitude might change. I sincerely hope this doesn't happen to you.

Did you read Fluffyflop’s post as a plea for constructive help? You should look at his posting history and my post might make sense. 5 hours ago, cobalt said: If you ever find yourself in the same situation -- i.e., with constant CTDs when you try to fly that seemingly cant be fixed (as I have been for several months now) Happened with two SUs (latest one when zooming in on world map to select an airport). Yes, frustrating, but didn’t put me on a path of bile at everything the devs do. i910900k, RTX 3090, 32GB DDR4 RAM, AW3423DW, Ruddy girt big mug of Yorkshire Tea
February 14, 20242 yr I trust that you will exhibit the same admirable level of patience if you start having CTDs EVERY TIME YOU FLY -- as I have in recent weeks (I certainly hope this won't happen to you). I am a great fan of MSFS2020, but this is pretty hard to accept -- as is the fact that the problem started with SU12, before which I never experienced a single CTD, and still have not in any program other than MSFS2020. February 18, 20242 yr For those interested, I just posted a report (new thread in this forum) describing a fix for the CTD problem I came across recently.

When I first got my new PC and MSFS 2020- I had multiple CTDs every time I flew. Tried everything, finally sending my PC back to the manufacturer for repair. They fixed it. That was almost three years ago and since then I have had one CTD and I fly multiple times a day.
February 19, 20242 yr I've rarely had CTD's until this Dune update. 3 of my last 4 flights ended in CTD. Other than a couple addon planes I have no other addons. Traffic is off. It's maddening. i7-11700k @ 5.1 GHz | EVGA RTX 3080 Ti | 32 GB RAM | 2 1TB NVME HD | 3 32" 2k monitors (7680 x 1440) | MSFS2024 - Simming since SubLogic Flight Sim 2
February 19, 20242 yr Complete clustersomething for me since the Dune expansion was released. CTDs within 5 minutes of starting every flight. Several tests each day since it appeared have resulted in moving from RTSS to NCP as my program of choice for limiting my my maximum FPS, deleting ReShade and having to stop flying the Fenix A320. Can only hope SU15 rectifies this... Blimey, that really is a harsh response are you saying he shouldn't complain about something that doesn't work? Perhaps he should be happy that Asobo appears to spend more resources on bringing out play things like Dune in a flight simulator than they do correcting basic elements that should have been sorted out years ago. (Blimey, did I just say that! ) But come on, if guys have a hobby, and let's face it, that most of us take fairly seriously, then we should be able to complain about a product if it's not working properly.
