Either way, now you know they don’t like experts and people that fly these aircraft for real, pointing out things that are broken or missing on their aircraft so you’re (or other experts) now less likely to join in or criticise anything they do. Now the PMDG forums are likely even more of an echo chamber and those that run it will become even more high on their own supply. I don’t think it is a matter of not liking feedback, but some people just take it too far. They act differently behind a keyboard. I can promise you that if Marc had brought that issue up to RSR in person he wouldn’t have mentioned “embarrassing” in that exchange. Those type comments just come off as being immature. I think PMDG has brought so much to the community and their products are among the best available, so being constructive without being disrespectful is warranted. They’ve earned that imo. 7950X3D | RTX 4090 | 96GB DDR5 | 4K G-Sync | Win11 Pro

Read the post that describes the inability to speak to RSR directly by those with real world airliner time under their belts. Also, note that the LNAV re-write was expected back in 2014 (per RSR's own commentary). Over a decade of marketing this 'feature' as upcoming, permits long-standing customers to complain about its non-appearance. Customers have earned that right over subsequent product releases and some humility from PMDG, rather than petulant banning of customers from their forums, is entirely warranted. PMDG autopilots and autothrottles in general could use a bit of love and attention. No mention has been made of the 777 FBW eidther. It is butchered and erratic in pitch the P3D version since a few years. Edited February 1, 20242 yr by VHOJT

Again - Marc has been a tester for years and has always been constructive and respectful and he's not just "some people". One word shouldn't trigger a response like that. February 2, 20242 yr Come on, it's one week old. RSS answer was inappropriate, nobody will contest it. But can we move over that once for all?
