Little Navmap Question

Featured Replies

How can I remove the yellow label which is attached to my yellow aircraft.

It is so large it often covers up some map detail.

Go to LNM

Tools-Options-Map display labels-User Aircraft and deselect as required

Thanks Hans I would never have been able to pick that up 🙂👍

Thanks to @Beagle12 for asking the question and @hansb57 for providing the answer. I've long wondered myself about getting rid of that yellow label. Thank you both!

I have similar: how do I alter the grey squares with question marks in them to actually see underneath them?

Maybe userpoints with an unknown type. You have a screenshot?
Try to disable userpoint display in the view menu.

@vgbaronMaybe it makes sense to move the whole thread to the LNM forum.

I don't have the facility to display pictures on the forum.

By disabling userpoint display, I lose all my CSVs as well!

You can disable the type "Unknown" further down in the list or "Unknown types" at the top. This won't affect other userpoint types.
What's not doable is to change the paint priority to draw them below the flight plan, sry.

Thanks for the screenshot. Yes, these are userpoints of an unknown type. You can install this icon pack to get rid of the question marks: https://flightsim.to/file/23181/littlenavmap-userpoint-icons
But install only the needed icons since it can slow down startup if you install all.

Or disable the types you're not interested in.

Alex

At present the PC that has LNM is different from the PC running MSFS. I can't get into the LNM PC for technical reasons as I am waiting for a technician to visit to look at this. But I do not think that I have question marks on LNM on that PC.

I have installed LNM on a separate PC and imported the CSVs and this is what you have seen in the screen shot. Perhaps the problem lies here somewhere?

Alex,

I've downloaded the LNM User point icons, but I'm not sure which one for the question marks I should insure and where to put it!

Martin

PS: Off now until tomorrow.
