I wish it would be that "dumb simple".  I've always had the "noolaero-module-vgds" latest version installed in my Community folder to no avail.  Something else might be the culprit.

Just run the scan option in the noolareo directory.

All terminal 5 gates are operational and I know some of the other terminal gates as well. I have not parked at every one.

Remember, that at present the latest version of Inibuilds the VDGS is defective.

Thanks. Then I do not have to try it as I have the latest version installed.

As stated above. In the VDGS folder is a 'scanner' executable. It scans all your 3rd party sceneries for VDGS enabled airports and links to them to activate the features. Every time you add airports to your Community folder that support Nool Aero's VGDS, rerun the scan again. It takes seconds to complete. This is noted in the instructions.

To ask this question another way, does MSFS not have any guidance systems by default, a 3rd party app has to be installed first to see them ?

Guys, I created a thread at the iniBuilds forum to notify them. Hope it will be fixed soon... [v3.1.0] Nool Aero VDGS not working - Support - iniBuilds Forum

Thanks for doing this. I have contacted their support site, I never thought of their forum.

This has been tried and does not work.

That's because the noolaero folder in inibuilds has the wrong name when changing with out dashes to noolaero VDGS EGLL it is after a scan added to the device.cfg file of noolaero...
So that's the first part to correct it and also change the layout.json file'...
But the result is still not working going to check it further
