May 7, 20242 yr Thought I'd post here as I don't seem to be able to post on the Fenix Discord server. When first loading up, and prior to selecting the READT TO FLY button the aircraft just floats with no visible landing gear. Does anyone have any idea as to why this might be? It's fine when ready to go on the gate. It's certainly not a biggy, or worth a support ticket request. I was just wondering if anyone else has had this issue and managed to fix it. Cheers Steve Hall
May 7, 20242 yr Yes I have this problem with the liveries I use. The good news is that the aircraft does not crash to the ground when the Fenix software starts and the undercarriage does then appear.
May 7, 20242 yr I'll test with some of the liveries I've installed. It's quite possible that I've also had this problem, but I'm usually so eager to "Fly Now" that I've probably not noticed! I'm wondering also whether it's a livery problem or some weird elevation mismatch. Worth testing the same (problematic) livery at different locations <??>..
May 7, 20242 yr Been reported on Discord. Probably will be fixed in some future update whenever that happens.
May 7, 20242 yr It had been fixed. Not widely reported now. Next update will be when SU15 is out since they have built around it.
May 7, 20242 yr I don't think it's anything to do with liveries as the same thing occurs with both the default liveries - i.e. the CFM and IAE in Fenix default colours that come directly with the model.
May 7, 20242 yr I was supposed to have been fixed but the implementation was not complete. If you restart the flight right away, the gear will be down now but they would be up no matter what you did before the patch. They also need to fix all of the lights being on before you hit ready to fly. As others have said, its not a big thing but it is annoying. 5800X3D. 32 GB RAM. 1TB SATA SSD. 3TB HDD. RX 9070XT.
May 8, 20242 yr Author Thanks for the replies. It does not seem to be the liveries causing it. I’ve made sure I installed the Block 2 specific liveries too. Cheers Steve Hall
