Thanks a million Charlie  . I was watching the coverage and thought, Is Bill ok ?

LOL, I know who you’re talking about now. I communicated with him once about how I used to work in the control tower at Hot Springs municipal in the late seventies. It was a non radar approach control then and the FAA closed it after the strike. I didn’t know Bill was a priest. Glad he’s OK.

Thanks for the concern, Paul. There is one elderly couple whose house was rendered uninhabitable due to several trees having fallen across their roof. What is truly awful is that they had no homeowner's insurance. Thanks to generosity, a tree service removed the fallen trees pro bono, and one local contractor has pledged to perform all the needed structural repairs for free, the couple only having to pay for the materials.

Several of the neighbors have set up a fund to help them with material costs as well, so hopefully their home will be repaired soon! Man, the folks around this area are very helpful in times of need.

I'll have to scour my email to see if I can locate your email now. I've been deluged with what I consider "spam" messages. I just looked and note 189 unread emails currently!

Now that I am living in a retirement community I find myself withdrawing from the world more and more and being assimilated into this community more and more.  I call this place 'The Warehouse' as it is a warehouse for those of us in our 60s and 70s and 80s and 90s who are really escaping back to the generations we grew up in and are ignoring the current ones.  This is the perfect place to do that.

I still venture out on the internet but not so much anymore.  My posts are further and further apart as are my replies.  A lot of it is not caring so much about what goes on in politics or the world anymore.

Allot of us are feeling like this at much younger ages now (just unplugging as much as we can)...  Too much unnecessary word not allowed in the world.😔
