May 27, 20242 yr The old DXGI_ERROR_HUNG message presented itself today for the first time in a long time. I only see this very occasionally and only with MSFS when running DX12. This is the first time I've seen it since the SU15 update which is the reason I bring it up now. Has anyone else seen this since SU15 and was this something SU15 was supposed to fix? Has anyone else seen this since SU15 and was this something SU15 was supposed to fix? I did not see this (at least on my system) as to be related to SU15. This message is most likely to be related to: +graphic drivers, old or corrupted +unstable overclocking +potential hardware (GPU) problem +and unfortunately MSFS2020 is still in beta DX12. The other way around that might help is after backing up your registry, you can try adding this to: HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Control\GraphicsDrivers Right-click GraphicsDrivers and select that key’s New > DWORD (32-bit) Value options Type TdrLevel inside the DWORD’s text box Double-click TdrLevel to view a Value data box for that DWORD Enter 0 in TdrLevel’s Value box, and select OK to save Close the Regedit app, and then restart your PC I hope you can fix it. 747 Captain for the last 39 years, and still learning.
May 27, 20242 yr Doesn't that registry edit kill DLSS? During the first days (around SU11), I didn't have DLSS available. As soon as I removed that tweak, I could get this option in MSFS settings. Thanks I 'l give the reg edit a try. As mentioned, I only see this very occasionally and when I do it is only with MSFS in DX12. And it nothing new. Its popped up from time to time when I had a 3080Ti, then on a 4070Ti Super and now on a very new 4080 Super. I'm not over-clocking the 4080 and I'm on the latest driver (555.85). I am using DLSS and FG with the latest versions of both (DLSS 3.70 and FG 3.71). So thanks again, I'll try the regdit and let you know. Could be a while, though, as, like I said, this only pops up very, very occasionally. December 4, 20241 yr I had this 3 times this morning, I found a YT video for this problem in MSFS 2024 so I made the registry changes and just trying for the 4th time. I have never seen this issue before. I did update to the latest NVIDIA driver last Friday and completed 3 flights without issues and the sim (2020) was performing beautifully. Beyond ATC also had an update this morning as well as the Fenix. Currently trying without BATC Here is the link Edited December 4, 20241 yr by RJC68 Richard i7-12700K | Noctua NH-D15S Black Version | MSI Pro Z690 - A | 32 GB DDR4 3600 | Gigabyte Gaming OC 4090 | 1TB WD Blue NMVe (MSFS 2020) | 500 GB WD Black Gen 4 NVMe | 4TB WD Black Conventional | Fractal Design Torrent Case | Seasonic 1000W Gold Plus PSU | Thrustmaster Boeing Yoke | Honeycomb Throttle | Airbus Side Stick | Virpil Rudder Pedals | Sony X90K 55 Inch TV |
